A car has been confiscated by police following an ill-judged manoeuvre at a set of traffic lights.
According to roads policing officers, the grey Mercedes 'cut up' a police vehicle, which was on patrol in the Aire Valley.
The incident happened today in Otley Road, Shipley.
Things soon got worse for the driver as investigations revealed that the expensive vehicle was uninsured. In line with current police policy, it was subsequently seized.
A spokesman for West Yorksire Police's roads policing unit said: "Driver cut up our marked unit at lights. Checks revealed he wasn't insured."
In a light-hearted conclusion to the social media statement, the spokesman added: "Doh! And unlucky. Seized and reported πΆπ»ππ"
