A little 'mooch' around a picturesque corner of the Calder Valley has resulted in an expensive taxi ride home to Bradford for an illegal driver.
Police swooped on the Fiat in Hebden Bridge as its occupants were thought to be loitering and subsequently confirmed that the driver had no licence or insurance.
The vehicle was seized by officers and its former occupants were forced to seek alternative transport back to Bradford.
The West Yorkshire Police roads policing unit said:"Occupants having a mooch about Hebden Bridge.
"Driver has no licence or insurance.Driver reported and vehicle seized. Expensive taxi to Bradford."
