Cordon in Bingley town centre after man assaulted
TWO men have been arrested and released pending further investigation following an assault in Bingley where a man suffered a head injury.
Chapel Lane, off Main Street, was taped off by police and a forensic tent in place in front of an entrance to an alleyway, following the attack at just after 1.25am yesterday.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and remained in Leeds General Infirmary.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman today said: “Two men, both aged 20, were arrested on Section 18 wounding with intent.
“Both have been released pending further investigation.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
