BRADFORD Council handed out 14 fixed penalty notices for fly-tipping between May last year and January, according to figures.
The Council came tenth in a list of local authorities for the number of notices handed out. Fines totalled an estimated £2,800.
The details came from a Freedom of Information request by online furniture retailer Furniture Choice. The company says it submitted the request to find out if local authorities had been using new legislative powers and issuing fixed penalty notices for small-scale fly-tipping offences.
