A MAN suffered serious injuries to his face during a "violent assault" in Rastrick.
Police in Calderdale are appealing for information on the attack, which happened on Sunday and left the victim needing urgent medical treatment.
The victim was approached by a man in Delf Hill Road at about 4pm and punched several times in the face. He was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The attacker was described as white, about 35 years old, 5ft 7in tall, stocky and with short blond hair. He was wearing a blue coat and also had a rucksack on his back at the time of the attack.?
Police described it as a "violent assault" and asked anyone who witnessed it, or who has any information on it, to contact them on 101, quoting crime reference 13170126009.
