A DINNER to mark the 70th anniversary of Pakistan’s independence will be held in Bradford.
The Pakistan Club: Pakistan Day dinner will take place this Friday at the Aagrah Midpoint at Thornbury.
The event will be attended by the Deputy Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Alun Griffiths.
Independence Day is held in Pakistan on August 14 each year to commemorate the occasion of Pakistan’s creation and when it was declared a sovereign nation following the partition of India on August 15, 1947.
