POLICE were continuing to question three suspected burglars yesterday following their arrests in a rooftop stand-off.
The three men - whom officers have now confirmed were aged 20, 17 and 17 - were taken into custody after spending around two hours on the roof of a property in Willow Street, Girlington, on Monday afternoon.
Police were called to the scene after initial reports of an ongoing domestic burglary.
It was reported that objects had been thrown from the roof, but despite an ambulance attending the scene no-one was injured.
After first being reported on the roof at around 1.15pm, the men were brought to safety and taken into custody at 3.23pm.
They were arrested on suspicion of burglary, affray and criminal damage.
Inquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
