A MAN has been given a restraining order for harassing a former colleague after a dispute over Bingley Music Live.
Joel Young, 30, who had DJ’d at the Myrtle Park Festival for several years, admitted making 65 calls to Lee O’Hanlon, a former booker for the festival, between 2am and 7.30am on September 20 last year. He also pretended to be a police officer.
It was part of an 18-month campaign against Mr O’Hanlon that stemmed from Young, from Middlesbrough, being dropped as a DJ for the 2015 festival.
During the phone calls he asked Mr O’Hanlon why he hadn’t killed himself.
Appearing in court last month, Young was handed a 12-month community order, 110 hours unpaid work and a five-year restraining order.
