SPRING snowfall is reportedly causing problems on roads in some parts of the Bradford district this morning.

Poor driving conditions are being reported in areas such as Bingley, Eldwick, and the Keighley area.

Some buses, including services 622, 623, and 624, are being forced to terminate their journeys due to icy roads.

Accidents have been reported on Swine Lane in East Morton, and Denholme Road in Oxenhope, with heavy and queuing traffic in other areas.

Mark Penny contacted the Telegraph & Argus to state that cars had been abandoned on a "treacherous" road in Hainworth village, leaving commuters and school children stranded.

Martin Chalk‏ said that it was "like another world" in Eldwick and Bingley, adding that "Bradford Council have done nothing to help the people getting to work."

The Council said last night that gritters would be out on main routes from 5am this morning with the authority also monitoring road conditions overnight.
