A GROUP of volunteers tackled village 'grot spots' as part of Operation Oakworth.
People of all ages turned out on Saturday to clean-up ten locations across the village.
Bradford Council neighbourhood service staff provided litter-pickers, bags, high-visibility vests and gloves
Afterwards, the 20-strong group met-up at Christchurch for refreshments and to plan a further litter blitz in July.
The event was the latest in a series of ventures to rid the village of rubbish.
Eight clean-ups, attended by hundreds of volunteers, have now been held over the past 18 months.
Running alongside Saturday's event was Perk up your Park – in Holden Park – which included litter-picking, planting and completion of repainting of the youth shelter.
Volunteers joined community development worker Pip Gibson and Friends of Holden Park members.
