ACHIEVEMENTS of looked-after children and young people from Bradford will be recognised at an education awards ceremony today.
Over 100 young people from the age of five to 21 have been nominated for awards, which will be presented by Lord Mayor of Bradford Councillor Geoff Reid. The ceremony has been held annually for the past 20 years and awards are presented for effort, progress, exam results and can range from learning phonics to earning a degree.
The event is from 11.30am at the Norcroft Centre at the University of Bradford.
