Groups to speak about funds help
PEOPLE are invited to attend a meeting of the Batley and Spen District Committee.
A number of community organisations which received funding from the committee over the year will provide an update on the impact that funding has had.
Councillor Gwen Lowe, committee chairman, said: “This will be an evening of celebration, and thanking volunteers for the activities they deliver.”
The meeting is on Thursday, March 16, at Batley Town Hall, from 7pm, with information stalls on local organisations from 6pm.
