A MAN had to be freed from wreckage after the Subaru Impreza he was in crashed into railings late last night.
It happened just before 11pm in Southfield Lane at the junction of Great Horton Road.
Police want to hear from anyone who saw the crash or who has information on how the vehicle was being driven.
Emergency services had to close off part of the road until 1am while crews from Fairweather Green and Odsal Fire Stations rescued the 20-year-old male driver from Bradford who was trapped in the high-powered vehicle.
He was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary with serious but not life threatening injuries.
Fire crews also helped two passengers get out of the smashed car. A 19-year-old man from Bradford suffered minor injuries and a second man, aged 21-year-old and also from Bradford, had no obvious injuries but they were both taken to hospital as a precaution.
Only one car was involved in the incident, according to police.
Duty Inspector Dorian James from West Yorkshire Police said: "Enquiries are continuing. We are appealing for witnesses who saw the actual collision and also for anyone with information about the manner in which the vehicle was being driven before the crash, to get in touch on the non-emergency 101 number, quoting our Log 1915 of March 4."
People can also ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
