STUDENTS at a Bradford school have been treated to a workshop on radio production.
Year 10 and 11 GCSE Media Studies students at Hanson Academy in Swain House were visited by digital education company UDevelop.
In the workshop, students were given the opportunity to gain some hands-on knowledge and were able to create their very own radio news shows, with the finished products available to listen to online.
The workshop was introduced as part of a new project students are in the process of starting up, called Hanson Broadcast.
The project will allow the students to put their newly acquired skills into action, creating short video clips which will play in the mornings during form time.
They will be used to update students on various trips, rewards, news and upcoming events at the school.
