PLANS to turn a former physiotherapy clinic into two flats have been approved by Bradford Council.
The New Line Clinic, which was based in New Line, Greengates, was originally built as a three bedroom semi-detached house.
The planning permission to change the use of the property into two flats was sought by Izdihar Mani.
The approved plans will see both flats have two-bedrooms with open-plan living areas and off-road car parking areas to the rear.
In the design and access statement it said flats would be a good use for the site, “as the area is mostly residential” and there is a “shortage of residential housing” in the area.
Adam Cayton, planning officer, said planning permission should be granted because it is “considered to be acceptable in principle and it is not considered to result in any adverse implications in respect of visual amenity, residential amenity, highway and pedestrian safety, or community safety.”
