BOXING legend Roberto Duran is coming to Bradford in May.

The former four-weight world champion will be the subject of an ‘An Audience with...’ event at the Bradford Hotel, on Hall Ings.

Nicknamed ‘Hands of Stone’, Panamanian Duran won 103 of his 119 fights during a career that spanned from 1968 to 2001.

On the evening, Duran, who is now 65, will be interviewed by Mark Peters.

Duran won titles at lightweight, welterweight, light-middleweight and middleweight.

The 5ft 7ins star was inducted into the World Boxing Hall of Fame in October 2006. He was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in June 2007.

A spokesman for the event said: “We are in for an amazing experience with a member of boxing royalty.”

The event is on Thursday, May 4.
