THE district’s latest Tour de Yorkshire Roadshow will ride into Saltaire this week.
The event will be taking place on Wednesday, March 1, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm, at Victoria Hall, Victoria Road.
The roadshows, run by Welcome to Yorkshire, will provide residents with details on road closures, the annual sportive and Welcome to Yorkshire’s various cycling legacy projects will be discussed.
How people can become a Tour Maker for the event and tips on ways businesses can embrace the huge influx of visitors who will watch the action will also discussed.
The third annual Tour de Yorkshire is coming to the district on April 30, when Stage Three begins in Bradford’s City Park and travels through Saltaire, Ilkley, Addingham, Skipton, Keighley and Haworth before finishing near Sheffield.
A similar roadshow event will be held on Monday, March 6, between 2pm and 4pm, at Victoria Hall in Keighley.
