A DELEGATION of leading civil servants from Pakistan will meet Bradford Council officials in the city during a trip to the UK.

The ten-strong party, who are mostly from the Excise and Taxation departments in the Punjab and Sindh regional government, will be in Bradford on Monday to meet officials including Council leader Susan Hinchcliffe.

They will see how council tax and business rates are collected in Bradford and Belfast, which they will also visit.

The group will also have lunch with the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Geoff Reid, and the Lady Mayoress, Chris Reid.

They will also dine with the Consul General of Pakistan, Ahmed Ali, at the Pakistani Consulate in Bradford on Monday night.
