FIREFIGHTERS have saved Keighley Bus Museum after a blaze broke out in the unit next door to it.
Crews from Keighley, Shipley and Halifax turned out to the scene in the town's Riverside area just before 12.30am today.
The call came from an on-site security who reported seeing flames coming through the roof of one of the units in the Pattern Shed units near Dalton Mills.
It took crews three hours to contain the flames and stop them spreading into the museum attached to the storage unit on fire.
A Keighley Fire Station spokesman said: "We had a lot of cutting away to do in the roof to make it safe but luckily we managed to stop the flames from getting into the bus museum."
The cause is still under investigation but is not believed to be suspicious.
