Talks between Bradford Council bosses and trades unions over plans to axe 408 local authority jobs have been described as "fruitful".
A joint statement issued tonight said the Council and unions met for four hours today to discuss the issues and "considerable progress was made in these talks which were fruitful".
The meeting was adjourned to allow both sides to work towards an agreed outcome and will resume on Monday, the statement said.
