Firefighters were called to a derelict mill in Hightown, Cleckheaton following reports of bales of wool being set alight.
Crews from Cleckheaton and Brighouse were called to the first incident at 2.15pm. While they were dealing with the fire they discovered a similar fire at the back of the mill.
They spent about 90 minutes at the scene.
Police, who were also called to the incident, are continuing with their inquiries.
