A third of employees in Yorkshire believe that their employer needs to do more to improve the health and well-being of employees at work, it has been revealed. Research commissioned by Investors in People - the organisation that works with companies to improve performance by investing in their staff - shows a further 25 per cent say their employer currently pays lip service to the issue or has no interest in promoting it. The survey also found that 28 per cent of employees in Yorkshire are either suffering from, or know someone who is suffering from, work-related stress, potentially undermining productivity and performance.
