The wife of a Bradford Council worker who died in a motorbike accident will take on 14-mile fundraising walk in his memory.
Marjorie Sawley and friends and colleagues of her husband, Phil, who died in October 2005, will walk from Crossflatts to Skipton along the Leeds Liverpool Canal tomorrow.
Mr Sawley, 53, of Skipton, was riding his motorbike on the A65 between Austwick and Ingleton, in the Yorkshire Dales, when it was in collision with a car.
He suffered injuries and was airlifted to Lancaster Royal Infirmary where he died that evening.
Now, the walkers are raising money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Mr Sawley was the Council's principal highways engineer for Shipley, having joined the Council in 1986.
