Detectives are investigating after a man suffered a gunshot wound in Holme Wood, Bradford.
Police were alerted by staff at Bradford Royal Infirmary after the 24-year-old man, who lives in the area, was brought into the hospital by friends.
The man was treated for a gunshot wound to the leg and discharged.
Police are making inquiries into the incident, which occurred at 9pm on Tuesday, and are hoping to speak to the victim.
