Concerns about lorries using Roper Lane, Queensbury, will be discussed at the next meeting of Bradford Council's South Area Committee. The road had to be closed for several hours last night when a truck carrying refined animal remains spilled its contents across the carriageway. A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said officials at Bradford and Calderdale councils, and the Environment Agency attended the incident. The area committee meeting takes place at Bradford City Hall on Thursday, June 28, at 6pm.
