TWO bikes were seized after they were being ridden by a gang of youths in a Bradford park.

A PCSO who was patrolling Horton Park, near to Horton Park Avenue, Little Horton, saw a number of young men taking turns on two off-road motorbikes, riding them in an anti-social manner, on Wednesday.

An officer from West Yorkshire Police's nuisance bike team was contacted and saw both bikes were being pushed out of the park onto Cecil Avenue.

The bike officer seized one of the bikes, but the other one was taken away.

No one in the group of youths owned up to being the owner of the bike, which was then seized for persistent anti-social use in that area.

PC Dave Hudson said: "There was a large crowd of male youths present with both bikes and individuals were identified as being the riders of the bike in question.

"It's unlikely that the bike will be released as there is no current keeper of the bike."
