A spectacular car crash blocked a major junction in Bradford city centre and caused long rush hour delays.
The incident, involving a black Audi S3 and a silver Vauxhall Corsa, happened on Hamm Strasse at around 3.45pm.
The Audi A3 ended up on its roof and smashed into railings which have been flattened.
Watch commander at Bradford fire station, Sergeant Adam Beecroft, said the road was cleared after a short closure.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said the 18-year-old male driver of the Audi was taken to hospital with hand injuries following the crash.
Traffic between Manningham and Swain House was affected.
Police diverted traffic on to Midland Road and North Avenue.
Buses were also delayed.
One reader contacted the Telegraph & Argus’s Facebook page and said: “HUGE accident at Forster Square traffic lights causing lots of traffic and closed roads.”
