A MAN is being treated for serious multiple injuries after falling on the tracks at Shipley Railway Station.
The incident happened shortly after 11.30pm yesterday on Platform 2.
Shocked eye witnesses have reported the man, believed to be in his 30s, getting off the Skipton-bound Leeds train before its doors shut and seeing him pulled under as it left the platform.
British Transport police have confirmed there was an incident and West Yorkshire Ambulance said it took a man from the scene to Leeds General Infirmary with serious multiple injuries.
Northern Rail and Network Rail are investigating.
