Car destroyed in overnight blaze
A FIRE crew was called out to tackle a car fire in the Canterbury area early this morning.
At around 2am the crew from Odsal station were called to the residential road to reports of a vehicle on fire. When they arrived they found it was a Vauxhall Insignia parked on the road.
They dealt with the fire and stopped it from spreading, although the car was completely destroyed.
It was unclear who the car belonged to, and police are now investigating the incident.
