A ROAD remains closed after a lorry clipped an electric cable and brought down a telegraph pole.
Police were called to the incident in Otley Road, High Eldwick, at just after 11.10am this morning when the impact of the incident saw the pole go into the road.
The road is expected to be closed until between 5pm and 6pm tonight.
Northern Powergrid and Bradford Council have been informed about the incident and have been at the scene.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman confirmed the lorry brought down the telegraph pole into the road but there was no damage to the vehicle.
The road will remain closed until between 5pm and 6pm today.
