THE possibility of setting up an Oakenshaw Village Council will be discussed at a meeting tonight.
The meeting, hosted by the Neighbourhood Project, will discuss a new council, which would have devolved powers in areas such as regeneration and area improvement.
The meeting will take place at St Andrew’s Church in Bradford Road, Oakenshaw, from 7pm to 9pm.
