A PENSIONER has been taken to hospital after a collision involving four cars in the car park of a supermarket in Baildon today.
The crash happened at the Co-op store, on Northgate, at about 3.10pm. It is believed one of the cars collided with the other three while they were parked up.
A red Kia Picanto ended up crashing into bollards just yards from the shop's front door.
A police spokesman said a woman aged in her 70s was being treated for shock by Yorkshire Ambulance Service staff. He added that no-one had been trapped in any of the vehicles involved.
A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesman said a woman in her 70s had been taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary, and added: "We were called to reports of a car that had hit some stationary vehicles."
One man at the scene said: "Two of the cars are in a right state. The boot has been ripped off one of the red cars."
Police said the four vehicles involved were a black Land Rover Freelander, a black Vauxhall Corsa, a red Citroen C1, and a red Kia Picanto.
The police spokesman said cars were being stopped from entering the Co-op car park while emergency services deal with the incident.
