POLICE are continuing to appeal for information about a road traffic collision which claimed a woman's life almost two weeks ago.
Janet Molloy, 51, of Rookes Lane, Norwood Green, died from serious injuries after she was in collision with a Toyota IQ2 on the A58 Whitehall Road, Wyke, close to the Wyke Lion pub at about 1.10am on Sunday, April 24.
The Toyota IQ2 was being driven along Huddersfield Road, towards Bradford, when it was involved in a collision with Mrs Molloy at the junction, known locally as the Hellfire Crossroads.
A 19-year-old male driver has been assisting the police with their investigation.
In recent days a large number of floral tributes have been placed near to the scene of the collision.
More than 20 bunches of flowers, along with cards and a cuddly toy, have been placed on a fence outside the Wyke Lion pub.
One card paid tribute to Mrs Molly as a "lovely, funny, caring lady".
Another said: "You were one amazing woman."
Anyone with information is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police's Major Collision Enquiry Team via 101, quoting log 105 of 24/4.
