A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital after suffering a serious head injury in an accident with a car in Bradford.
The incident took place on Mayo Avenue, near to the Matalan store, shortly before 1pm today.
The collision involved a blue Peugeot 207 and a cyclist, in his 50s, who was taken to Leeds General Infirmary.
A road closure is currently in place from Manchester Road to the city centre, a West Yorkshire Police spokesman confirmed.
