BBC Look North's Harry Gration and Paul Hudson marched into Bradford city centre today as part of their three-legged walk around Yorkshire.

On day five of their 125-mile trek around the county in aid of Sport Relief, Harry and Paul left Halifax town centre at 9.30am before reaching Queensbury, the site of many memorable snow reports, at 12.30pm, passing through Great Horton at 2pm and finishing in City Park at 3pm.

Arriving in City Park, the pair said it was the support from the public that was spurring them on.

Harry said: "The reaction has been wonderful, we had no idea what the turnout would be like but we had over 1,000 people out cheering us on, the support over the weekend was good but this trumps the lot.

"Everyone was so warm and welcoming, what we want to try and do is show what the folk of Yorkshire are really like."

Paul, who was born in Keighley, was happy the weather had improved for them yesterday, and said the sun should continue for the rest of the week.

He said: "It's been lovely, it's the first time for 50 years it's been sunny in Queensbury in March!

"The weather has been kind to us so far, but I'm not hamming it up, we are knackered, but this kind of reception makes it worthwhile, and we hope when people see this they will come out and cheer us on."

The pair began the sixth leg of their mammoth effort in Bradford today, walking past Valley Parade, up past Lister Park towards Saltaire, before crossing the river and heading to Baildon and Guiseley then finishing in Otley.
