Ambulance crews took a woman to hospital after a crash in Bailiff Bridge
A POLICE officer was injured while directing traffic after a crash in Bailiff Bridge.
A blue motorcycle was in collision with the officer, who suffered minor injuries.
The initial crash happened on Birkby Lane at about 11.50am yesterday and involved a white Peugeot and a grey Citroen C4, leaving a woman injured.
Firefighters from Huddersfield and Mirfield stations freed the woman from one of the cars. She was then taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary by ambulance for treatment to a rib injury.
