THE TSB’s branch in Bradford city centre will be shrouded in scaffolding for the foreseeable future as repair work is undertaken on the roof.

During heavy storms a few months ago, the roof of the building was damaged and a piece of masonry fell from the building in high winds.

The building stands at the junction of Ivegate and Tyrrel Street in a pedestrianised area.

A spokesman for TSB said: “There is a temporary structure over the roof as a result of storm damage to the building on Ivegate.

“The repair work has not yet started so it is still unclear as to how long the scaffolding will be up as we do not know how long the work will take.”
