POLICE have confirmed that no action is to be taken against a male driver reported to have been involved in an altercation with a woman driver in Bingley.
Officers in the Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team put out an appeal to trace the man - described as being in his 40s, with short cropped hair and a chubby face - shortly after the incident which occurred in Micklethwaite Lane, Crossflatts, on Tuesday at about 8.30am.
The appeal, which was circulated on social media by NPT officers, stated that the man, who had been driving a gold Vauxhall Vectra, had been "aggressive and threatening" towards the woman, causing damage to the bodywork of her vehicle with his vehicle.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "We can confirm that both parties were spoken to and advised, and the matter is now closed."
