Firefighters from Illingworth and Fairweather Green stations tackled a flat fire in Queensbury
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a living room blaze at a flat in Queensbury today.
Crews from Illingworth and Fairweather Green stations were called to a property on High Street, at about 5am.
A spokesman for Illingworth station said a sofa was on fire and that the living room was smoke damaged. The male occupant of the flat got out before firefighters arrived and he was not injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
