An ambulance has been called to the scene in Bradford Road, Birkenshaw
A moped rider has suffered leg injuries after being involved in a collision with a car in Birkenshaw.
The incident occurred on the A651 Bradford Road, near the Moorlands Road junction, at around 7.50am.
The road was partially blocked in both directions with police directing traffic.
It had re-opened fully by 10.30am.
An ambulance and rapid response vehicle was called to the scene to treat the injured man.
A spokesman for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust said the man, in his 50s, had suffered a knee injury and was taken to Dewsbury and District Hospital.
The car involved was a silver Vauxhall Corsa.
