AN inquest will be opened today into the deaths of tragic couple Margaride Rufino and Anthony Roberts.
Ms Rufino, 38, known as Guida, a partner with an occupational health firm, and Mr Roberts, a 37-year-old teacher, were pronounced dead at their home in Cross Road, Idle, Bradford, on Sunday, January 31.
Police said last week that they were treating the deaths as a murder/suicide investigation and were not looking for anyone else in connection with their deaths.
INQUEST REVEALS MORE ABOUT THE MURDER AND SUICIDE DEATHS OF IDLE COUPLE
Post-mortem examinations later revealed that Ms Rufino died of multiple stab wounds at the hands of her partner who then killed himself, suffering a single wound to the leg.
The couple had a two-year-old daughter who is being cared for by a family member.
The inquest, in Bradford, will be opened by city coroner Martin Fleming.
