A WOMAN died of multiple stab wounds at the hands of her partner who then killed himself, post-mortem examinations today confirmed.
Margaride Rufino, known as Guida, aged 38, and Anthony Roberts, aged 37, were both pronounced dead at their home in Cross Road, Idle, on Sunday evening.
Ms Rufino, a partner in an occupation health firm, was found to have died from multiple stab wounds.

Mr Roberts, a teacher, was found to have died from a wound to his leg.
Det Chief Insp Ian Scott, who is leading the investigation, said: "We can now confirm we are treating this as a murder/suicide investigation.
"As we've previously stated we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this inquiry and our role is now to establish the facts of what happened in the time leading up to their deaths.
"This information will be passed to the coroner for further inquiries."
Police declined to comment on reports which suggested the couple had recently split up and Mr Roberts had burst into the house, as Ms Rufino was dining with a female friend, and bound the women before attacking them with the friend managing to escape and raise the alarm.
A team of forensic experts and crime scene investigation officers were still at the scene today.
The stone-built detached property remained cordoned off by blue and white police tape.
A woman officer in a high visibility jacket stood guard outside while investigators in white protective suits and masks went in and out of the house, and took photos from across the street.

POLICE TREAT DOUBLE DEATHS AS MURDER AND SUICIDE
Two crime scene investigation vans, a scientific support vehicle and a police patrol van were parked up in the street nearby.
A bunch of orange and pink roses had been left in the doorway of the house by a neighbour, with the message: "Such a tragedy. RIP. With deepest sympathy."

Det Chief Insp Scott said he did not yet know what was behind the tragedy but witness accounts were being taken which may give a fuller picture.
He said: "We have got various accounts from friends and people associated with them, but no obvious explanation at this stage."
He said the couple's two-year-old daughter was being cared for by a family member.
Det Chief Insp Scott added: "We are happy with that situation. In the fullness of time the two families are going to have to work out a long term care plan for the child.
"I can only assume social services will play a part in that. That's not something we will be getting involved with."
