Kirklees Leisure Development won three out of four at the annual Yorkshire and Humberside Quest Awards, the sport and leisure industry's standard for excellence in management.
Leisure Development, part of Kirklees Culture and Leisure Services, won accolades for receiving the overall highest score at 88 per cent in Great Britain in 2006, the highest score for the development and production of strategy and the highest score for service delivery.
It brings Leisure Development's awards total to nine regional and two national since the department entered the Quest scheme in 2002.
