West Yorkshire Archive Services will join the County Archive Research Network (CARN) - a scheme which provide users with tickets for local authority archives in England and Wales - on June 3.
The service is urging users to register for a ticket, which will help document up-to-date information about users and will provide greater security for documents.
Tickets will remain valid for four years and can be used at any of the 70 archive services included in the scheme.
