The 450-member Dales Way Association is inviting people to join an easy introductory walk along the Dales Way, the popular footpath along the River Wharfe.
Sunday's six-mile public walk from Ilkley to Bolton Abbey will form part of the Yorkshire Dales Society's Sharing the Dales project which is designed to encourage people to visit the national park in sustainable ways.
The walk will start at Ilkley Railway Station at 11.15am (connecting with the 884 bus from Skipton at 10.25am) with a return bus from Bolton Abbey direct to Skipton at 4.35pm.
Walkers should wear boots or stout shoes and bring rainwear and a packed lunch with them.
On Bank Holiday Monday there will be a shorter walk to Embsay Crag.
Participants should meet outside the Elm Tree, Embsay, at 1.35pm, with the start time tying in with the 1.25pm Cravenlink bus from Skipton Bus Station.
