Football pitch damaged in arson incident
A FOOTBALL pitch was damaged after two wheelie bins were set alight in the centre circle.
Firefighters from Cleckheaton fire station were called to a recreation ground off Kingsley Drive, Birkenshaw, at 7.30pm on Thursday.
A spokesman said a big pile of melted plastic had been left in the centre circle. A third bin had been set on fire on the sideline, he added.
