A SUPERMARKET in Bradford was evacuated after the smell of gas was reported.
The Lidl store in Ingleby Road was closed as a precaution at around 2pm today and the fire brigade called in.
It has since reopened after being given the all-clear.
A Lidl spokesman said: "A smell of a gas was reported in the warehouse area so as a precaution we closed the store and alerted the fire brigade."
The spokesman apologised for any inconvenience and thanked residents for their patience.
"We would also like to thank the fire service for their quick response and help at this time," she added.
