FIREFIGHTERS from Fairweather Green were accompanied by police on Saturday night following incidents of stone-throwing in Bradford the previous night.
They attended three deliberate fires, but did not encounter any trouble.
The first was a wheelie bin set ablaze on Mannheim Road, off Toller Lane, at 7.15pm. The second was trade waste set on fire in Summerville Road at 8.15pm and the final incident was a small fire in the road at Chellow Grange Road, near West Bradford Golf Club at 9.50pm.
"Following stone throwing incidents in our area, we were escorted by a police vehicle with fire officer inside which attended the incidents before we arrived," a spokesman said.
