THE deadline is approaching for Bradford people to enter an awards scheme held in tribute to a popular planning manager.
The awards, run by Incommunities, are in memory of Gerry Pickersgill (pictured), who died in 2000. Prizes are awarded in five categories - best neighbour, social event organiser, young volunteer, environmental project, and community centre/social room.
Nominations must be in by tomorrow and can be made at incommunities.co.uk/news/gerry-pickersgill-awards or by contacting Tracy Tough on 01274 257755.
