A 20-YEAR-OLD man, arrested by police investigating an alleged serious sexual assault on a woman in Bradford at the weekend, has been released on bail.
The woman alleged she had been assaulted in Duckett Lane in the city centre. Police attended the scene at 4am on Sunday. The area was sealed off while officers combed the scene for evidence.
Officers guarded the entrance to the street, opposite the Kirkgate Centre car park in Godwin Street, until the police cordon was lifted 12 hours later.
The 20-year-old man has now been bailed pending further inquiries.
